BACKGROUND highlights should include a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or Health Education. A Master's degree is preferred as is 5 years professional experience in communications in a healthcare environment. Requirements include a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience with demonstrated proficiency in facilitating team execution of time-sensitive tasks; proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as internet and supporting tools; strong organizational and project management skills; multi-tasking expertise; excellent written and verbal communications skills including the ability to edit and write for internal and external clients; the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, demanding environment; and the ability to assess workload and assign and execute priorities for self and team. |
